It's going to be a long night

It is going to be a really long night. It is 1:30am and we just finished watching "The Grudge". Holy Crap is it scary. Freaky little kids are the scariest. We were planning on going to bed early tonight (1:30 is early), but I don't think I could go to sleep without seeing that little kid in my dreams. So now we are going to start "The Incredibles". It's 2 hours long, but maybe it will get that freaky little kid out of my head!

Legit Reason for not working!

So I actually have a really good reason for not working the past two days. The internet has been down! It's really hard to do the kind of work that I do without being able to connect to the internet.

It's actually pretty hard to function normally in today's society without the internet. A few quick cases, last night we were watching Friends (re-runs) and there was a girl on there that looked really familiar and I wanted to see what else she was in. Normally I would just pull up IMDB and look her up, but NOOOO, we didn't have internet. So I had to waste the night away in wonder.

Then today, with the internet being down and all I still couldn't get any work done so Kevin and I decided that we should go play golf. Well it was cold and rainy here in Ada so we decided we might fly to Dallas, Austin or Houston to play this afternoon where it would be a little warmer. We couldn't find out what the weather was like, therefore we couldn't make a ridiculous trip to play 9 holes of golf!

We ended up playing here in town at Oak Hills. It was really really windy and pretty cold and rainy. The sun did come out for the back nine. We played as bad as we usually do, but had a good time. And what can I say, it sure beat working!

Still not much to say. Having a great stretch business wise, but that doesn't make for very interesting blogging!

We are up to 4 people actually using our new offsite backup facility (5 if you count me), will be adding 1 more for sure next week with a lot more meetings.

For anyone that didn't know, the new company that I am starting is for offsite data backup and storage. It is keeping me really busy. Every night this week I left the house and went to my accountants office at 9pm so I could watch the backup run for a few minutes to make sure there aren't any bugs. There aren't!

Man I love my new golf grip. For anyone that cares, I've gone from a baseball grip to an interlocked grip. It has really made my drives straighter and much longer as Dad can vouch for.

I love they way I feel so busy, my brain always feels scattered, and I constantly feel like I have had no sleep yet I have been home before 5 nearly every day this week! As Dad says, "It's a rough life, but somebody's got to live it!"
